dan and kali came all the way from LA to play with me (a.k.a. take engagement pictures) last thursday. and what fun adventures we had! really, they were like putty in my hand. only very very beautiful putty with super model/GQ personas. (plus a little zoolander that surfaced from time to time.)

seriously, though, dan and kali are two amazing beautiful people both inside and out. their sweet spirits and kindness towards eachother was so, well...sweet. they've definitely got the romantic thing going on with a twist of playfulness. i for one had such a fun evening.

despite the ticks. and the human urine. the rusty nails. and the sand in my hair. oh, wait, it didn't get sand in my hair...but they did. what amazing sports! i hope they like the pictures because they really poured themselves into everything we did.

thank you dan and kali. i'm so so happy for you two and wish you all the joy and bliss in your new marriage!

it's the afternoon. i'm taking a break from work. now i'm all mommy...but there's always a bit of work carried over:

how i play with my boys. all of our action figures, firemen and potato heads become characters in a soap opera. after a tumultuous courtship, mr. pote and miss pote have decided to tie the knot. here, you'll see a bridal portrait and a few wedding shots of this particular couple.

wow! what an awesome day it was on saturday...out in the wild blue yonder, under the golden sun! rosie and joe threw one super amazing wedding bash...and it was insane how many people turned out! every detail was absolutely perfect from the bubbles to the hand-made iron boot vases. the barbeque...fabulous. the music...swingin'. and the bride and groom...stunning! thanks rosie and joe for letting me be a part of your awesome wedding day!

i'm not sure how you spell that word...probably something like tuche (with an accent). but since i don't know how to make an accent with my keyboard it looks like tooch. anyways, my cute little friend flo recently posted about my work on her blog. little did i know she has blog readers from all over the world. thank you flo! flo paris (oakes) is an amazing singer and songwriter. plus she's pretty darn funny. she put on an incredible concert last summer along with some other local musicians...including the new times editor ryan miller (please don't correct my grammer/punktuation), brett rookes (father to natalie, the most porcelain beauty) and sally kay.

did i mention flo has the voice of an angel? and did i forget to mention that she was 9 months pregnant when she put on and performed this concert? yes, she's incredible. anyways, these pictures have been tucked away for a long time but i dug them out for my dear friend.
